Fall is Damn Near Here- Are You Ready?

So I was online for most of the morning and I'ma share what I found with you guys...

The newest Alife collection is 'effin bananas... Tees and all.

I'm really hoping that 10 Deep comes out with this New World Order varsity for the chicks...

Opening Ceremony teamed with Nikey at the top of the Olympics and came out with these bull shits. I wasn't sure if I was mad at them because of the metallics or the perforated leather, I mean, I like those details but just not together in a shoe, but peep the kicks that came for the closing ceremonies... Ooh... The swirls...

Nike came out with these Back to School Dunks... Reminiscent of the 1st grade. Freshness.

I heart Reebok Pumps. In MORE colorways...

Number (N)ine (a Japanese brand) came out with these high top trainers in flippin' shearling! I really wish I could get 'em in my size but they're primarily for men. Damn. Imagine these joints for the ladies who can't buy Uggs knowing that one in every three chicks already has a pair..

Flashing Lights On...

Chilly-O

Born out of Atlanta, Chilly-O is a hometown brand that symbolizes the avant garde attitude of tastemakers. Here is a brief self description of what they stand for:

Chilly-O, Inc. was initially born as a legal means for generating wealth and other opportunities by raising the standard. Generating wealth (not riches) can be a difficult task in the heart of low socio-economic communities due to lack of financial awareness, supporting institutions, economic and political force. The challenges faced are difficult, and striving to create a 360 degree wealthy way of thinking was something we wanted to convey not only to our friends and family but to the streets in general as well.

What's more, although Chilly is based out here, it's still hard to find unless you know where to look... Here's a hint: try Urban Fusion in Castleberry Hill.

New Kicks...

Guess what I found at Wish yesterday? New Hellboy X Adidas Stan Smiths. Huh? What the hell? Yeah you want 'em... Just be sure your bills for the week are paid first, they're on the pricey side: upwards of $200.

Broke AND Boujee.

If you're unfamilar with Fadia Kader parties, you should probably begin with the Broke and Boujee fashion series. It's a tradition that was set a few years ago and still draws a live crowd. Brought to you by Plush .357 and the Come Up Kids, this party is damn near guaranteed to be dope. Need some motivation? Download and listen to the mixtape by DJ Dibiase, who'll be spinning at the party. Cover? Please. It's 99 cents before 11, after that it's $4.99 for ladies, $9.99 for guys. It's this Thursday, the 21st at the Five Spot in Little Five. Get out there!

The Newest from Plush .357!

As I told Corey Davis through the wonder of Myspace messaging the other day: I'm so in awe of Plush .357 designs! One of the flyest new lines to come out of Atlanta. Barely twenty-two years old, Davis is the artist who envisioned starting a line of these dope tees that seem to poke fun at the glamorization of violence in films, with graphics such as a teddy bear and an elephant palming a shiny pistol cocked and ready. The newest designs are released seasonally (as told to me by a very cute Chicagoan sales associate at the flagship). Prices range from $10 to around $40. Here are a few...

I can just see all of 'em with the "Timmy" Supra Skytops, due out in the spring...

Sales!!

As you can see from the graphic above, Wish is getting ready to have yet another magnificent sale this Saturday and Sunday. Mainly Dunks! Can we all just say- "insanity"? Get there early, I can assure you I will... The folks at Urban Fusion are having an ongoing sale on men's and women's clothing and kicks. A bit of motivation? Think Antik jeans, Shmack tees, Keep sneakers, 80%20 shoes, etc. Oh yeah and I copped a Hellz Bellz shirt there the other day for 50% off... Find your way over there- now!

Dimepiece at Urban Fusion!

Before all the fly females get excited: spoke with Rodney from Urban Fusion on Peters Street in Castleberry Hill today, and he told me about the newest shipment of Dimepiece product that they have in store. They definitely have some dope pieces but there was an issue with their order and they didn't receive everything that they expected. All the more reason though for you to rush down to that side of I-20 and cop a pair of these "L.A. Legs" leggings- you'll be the first one with them out here!

Get Ready...

So the long heralded Nike Sportwear site has finally been launched. The actual flagship store, the only one on US soil opened in New York City four days ago. Never mind all that my fellow residents of the A, we have our own personal stash of the brand new Country Split Windrunner jackets from the line down at Wish on Moreland.

The thing with these jackets is the fact that you can unzip one half from the other and attach it to another jacket's half. Making it a mix and match type thing... I saw Australia and Japan at Wish for $100+. Crazy...

The Definition...

So I was at work tonight and I didn't get to catch the first part of this celebration at Lenny's Bar in the city, but I got off around 1:30 and promptly went to the afterparty at El Bar. This was my first time at a Come Up Kids party and I've gotta say (as I've heard from many others), it was one of the coolest, most laid back type events that I 've ever gone to on a Friday night. From the moment I walked in, everyone was getting it. Nobody was worried about sweating a perm out or looking uncool dancing or singing along to the music. Everything was chill. The drinks flowed freely for "the cheap-cheap".

Meth and Red was playing, along with Noreaga, Busta, the Ying-Yang Twins and Grip Plyaz, then Shawty Lo, Outkast and Young Joc. I mean, seriously? This is what it's all about. It's what I want Outlandish to be all about: style and respect, minus the pretension. Everybody doing them, not too interested in the regular minor ish. All influenced by many, not pigeonholed into thinking one way, or liking one thing. The definition...
